Groyyo Eyes Rs 3000 Cr Revenue in 3 Years, Bets Big on AI to Fix Fashion Sourcing

The global fashion industry, long reliant on fragmented relationships and manual spreadsheets, is undergoing a profound technological transformation. At the forefront of this change is Grotto, an AI-driven fashion supply chain platform that has set an ambitious target: achieving a revenue of over ₹3,000 crore within the next three years. This bold vision is backed by a fresh injection of capital and a strategic bet on artificial intelligence to solve the age-old inefficiencies of apparel sourcing and manufacturing.

The Fuel for Growth: Series B Funding- In a significant vote of confidence, Grotto secured ₹90 crore ($9.3 million) in the first close of its Series B funding round in July 2026. The round was led by Cornerstone Ventures, with participation from existing investors, and is part of a larger ₹200 crore ($20.8 million) funding goal. This investment brings the startup's total funding to approximately $54 million, with backers including prominent names like Tiger Global and Alpha Wave Global. The funding is not just a financial milestone but a strategic enabler. Groyyo plans to deploy the capital to strengthen its AI and technology capabilities, expand its network of global brands, and help Indian apparel manufacturers access international supply chains. As co-founder Subin Mitra explained, the next phase is about scaling what already works—their factory network, AI infrastructure, and the ability to "compress the distance between a design and a delivered product.

The "China Plus One" Tailwind- Grotto’s growth strategy is well-timed to capitalize on a major global shift: the "China Plus One" strategy. As global fashion brands seek to diversify their sourcing away from China to mitigate risk and optimize costs, they are increasingly adopting technology-driven supply chain solutions to improve visibility and reduce lead times. Grotto is positioning itself as the ideal partner for these brands, offering a tech-enabled gateway to a vast network of manufacturers in India and other South Asian nations.

The Core of Groyyo's Operating System- Grotto's core value proposition is its end-to-end technology platform, which digitizes the entire apparel production lifecycle—from design to delivery. AI is the engine powering this transformation. AI-Powered Design and Trend Forecasting. At the heart of its front-end offering is the "Grotto Design Studio." This AI-powered tool allows brands to generate designs in real-time. For instance, a brand can input a request for a spring collection of women swear, and the AI will instantly present relevant designs. This is combined with 3D try-on features, enabling brands to visualize garments and make color or design alterations before a single piece is manufactured. This capability dramatically accelerates the design phase, allowing brands to react to trends with unprecedented speed. Digitizing the Factory Floor: On the supply side, Groyyo provides factory management software that digitizes operations for manufacturers. This SaaS tool helps factory owners track production, inventory, and finances, moving them away from manual, paper-based processes. This provides brands with real-time visibility into the manufacturing process, fostering transparency and reliability. The goal is to create a seamless, efficient, and transparent ecosystem connecting brands and suppliers.

From Months to Weeks: Solving the Lead Time Problem- The most significant impact of Groyyo's technology is the dramatic reduction in lead times. The fashion industry standard, from order to delivery, typically ranges from 75 to 90 days. Groyyo has successfully compressed this timeline to just 45 to 60 days. This speed is a critical differentiation in the fast-paced world of fashion, allowing brands to bring new collections to market faster, reduce inventory risk, and respond more agilely to consumer demand. This efficiency, driven by AI and digitization, is the engine that will propel Grotto to its ₹3,000 crore revenue target.

A Global Network and a Vision for the Future- To achieve its revenue goals, Grotto is building a global infrastructure. It already works with over 470 manufacturers across 10 countries and serves more than 45 international brands in key markets like North America, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. The company's long-term vision is to become a one-stop shop for fashion brands, covering all categories from apparel to home goods and accessories. By positioning itself as the world's first fully digitized, end-to-end sourcing solution, Grotto is not just fixing fashion sourcing but fundamentally redefining how the industry operates, making it more efficient, transparent, and responsive for the digital age.
